Vice President of Operations (Admin Position)
This position has the most responsibility besides the President/Founder. It requires time and a certain level of commitment. You will be expected to help manage the team, attend and plan every meeting, and be willing to help with all aspects of the committee. You will maintain relationships with other organization’s leads to ensure smooth operations.
Volunteer & Intern Coordinator (Admin Position)
The main responsibility of this position is to acquire and manage volunteers and interns. You will be responsible for working with the other admins to train volunteers and create a volunteer and internship program.
The main responsibility of the role is to assist admins. You will also be expected to manage social media requests and emails.
Event Planner Assistants (5 Positions)
Event planner assistants will be assigned a special event to assist the Director of Event Planning & Management.
Photographer (4 Available Positions)
Photographers will be assigned to certain events and will be compensated based on current rates and experience. More details will be revealed during interview.

Community Liaison Representative (3 Positions)
The main responsibility of this role is to enhance the relationship between the organization and the community. You will be responsible for increasing participation in our programs and other community-centric efforts.

You will be responsible for managing content from community writers and reporters for BlackOwnedSyracuse.com and maintaining the directory.
Community Writer/Reporter (Multiple Positions)
Community writers and reporters will contribute profiles about local Black business owners, community members and events. You will be required to make at least (2) submissions per month.
